Reindeer marshmallows

These cute treats are also great for decorating your Christmas dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 2 slabs (100g each) chocolate
  • Pretzels
  • Red sweets
  • 12 mini marshmallows
  • Small chocolate candies

 

Method

  1. Place one large marshmallow each on the end of 12 skewers.
  2. Make a hole on each side of the marshmallow. 
  3. Melt chocolate gently in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds, or over a double-boiler (with adult supervision). 
  4. Dip marshmallows in chocolate and allow excess to drip off. 
  5. Halve some pretzels and secure in the holes to create antlers. 
  6. Place a red sweet in the centre for a nose, two halved mini marshmallows at the top for eyes and candies for pupils. Stick down with melted chocolate.
  7. Cool to set, and serve.
